In Memoriam: Jerry Composano aka Prizm

January 22nd, 2008 Posted in Bryce-related

cumberlandcreek_prizmToday is a sad day for the world of the Bryce artist. An icon in the field, Jerry (Gennaro) Composano, also known as prizm or Prizm Break, passed away in his sleep last night.

To echo Frogdot of 3dCommune’s words "…our artwork is a part of our legacy" We invite you to visit Gennaro’s website to enjoy the legacy that he has left behind. Jerry’s "Cumberland Creek" was nominated in the Golden Tori Awards for the Best Use of Textures category and was a close runner-up to the winning entries!

RIP Jerry! Your memory will live on in your images that you left us!

Jerry’s website is gone! Nothing left. Hopefully there are places where he had a gallery, will still have his artworks displayed.

Everything he had done is gone. 3Dcommune only has 2 or his legendary art work left and Renderosity had nothing left. It’s sad, really heartbreaking to see nothing remaining of this artist on the internet.

My dad’s website is NOT gone, we got it back up and working. The 21st was the two year anniversary, since heaven decided they deserved him more..
Take a look at his website and sign his guest book, we all know how much he’d love it.
